Formally trained in both studio art and writing, for most of my adult life, I've made my living as a writer. I love language that describes the sensory world around me, especially the visuals. The best writing can make a reader feel more than that which words alone can express; what one colleague calls "the unspeakable." Sometimes joy, sadness, or wonder.
Like many fiction and poetry writers, I find Imagery has been key to my craft. That ability has helped me to produce clean and professional looking design and layout as well as copy for clients. I've created brochures, fliers and many other print products and web content for a range of clients.
Now in retirement, today I enjoy exploring different artistic mediums while keeping my professional skills sharp through the odd project; a brochure here, a business card there, and miscellaneous copy writing and editing jobs.
And while I've worked on several web redesigns creating better architecture and user friendly content, I've just dipped a toe into the world of website creation using the WIX platform.
